This is what a modern office looks like

Sitting in the same position all day is not healthy. This is what specialist say, and it is backed up by several studies. People know this, but for lots of them it’s just part of the job: office spaces traditionally are sitting spaces.

But offices are improving: more and more modern companies convert their offices into dynamic working places. The German company Wilkhahn meets this trend by developing and producing flexible and dynamic office furniture.

Playful design

The best example of a flexible office chair is the Stand-up model: the dynamic base keeps your body in motion while you’re sitting. The seats can be used in various places: you can easily move them to a conference room or a coffee corner.

The playful design of the Stand-up seat fits perfectly into today’s offices: co-working spaces, conference rooms, home offices,…

Ergonomic office furniture

Wilkhahn combines its young and playful image with ergonomics and quality. The company has more than 100 years of experience in producing office furniture, and it keeps moving along with new trends.

Design is an important element, but ergonomics are the foundation for Wilkhahn’s designs. The office chairs IN and ON were developed in collaboration with the University of Sports in Cologne. This resulted in a mechanism that makes you not only move back and forth in your office chair, but also sideways.

This dynamic way of sitting makes a day at the office comfortable as well as active. The body balance reduces the risk of back problems.
