These experiments are great. They’re a lot of fun and their creators were able to learn about and express some great thoughts about design and human behavior. Reminds me of how Ben Fry set up his 2010 UX Week talk.

Having a sandbox to question assumptions is a perfect way to get some thinking done. Everything we do shouldn’t be chained to a product release pipeline.

Adam Mosseri’s talk from that year also showed a lot of useful iterative innovation for a critical moment for Facebook.
