The problem with our country (and culture in general) is that these people get to be treated like adults.

Adulthood should come with responsibilities, and those responsibilities should include basic civil behavior and an understanding of reason.

These aren’t super-complicated concepts, a grade schooler could understand them. The fact that they aren’t part of our rite of passage to adulthood and shocking if violated is a complete travesty.

I’m sorry you had to go through that. It’s completely unfair and wrong in more ways than I can count.

Somebody better than me gave me my life’s mission (everything else is a sidequest now) which to create a co-operative corporation that can compete and grow quickly (not making hammocks or anything like that) where not only are such basic things the standard but also where people can live 24/7 in vibrant campuses so nobody has to go out and deal with a society where the worst of us have all the advantages if they don’t want to. I’m not the biggest fan of this birth-nation-lottery thing, it’s just a race to the bottom. Civilization should be a choice, right?

Edit: There’s even flowcharts for this sort of thing! Added!
