Why should it be a universally positive act? Who decided that?
Michael Noker

With that logic, you could turn any good act into an insincere one.

I didn’t ‘take it personally’, I was annoyed that you, the author, and many others are creating a problem where none needs to exist.

Sure, saving the world isn’t a pin, they’re barely even connected, but putting a negative haze over something that (ALMOST UNIVERSALLY…sheesh) is a good act provides no value and can only result in people who are genuinely sincere to think ‘maybe I shouldn’t wear the pin if there are some people who aren’t like me loudly declaring it to be a symbol of something else’

I think it’s a foolish mistake, that’s all.
