Sunny Health and Fitness SF-B1002 Review
Sunny Health and Fitness SF-B1002 Belt Drive Indoor Cycling Bike itself looks pretty good for a piece of exercise equipment. It’s not overly large and pretty easy to move around with the front wheel feature.
I have a hard time lifting things but this was not that bad. If you were someone with back problems you could even lift it forward from the seat bar and then roll it.
It’s pretty quiet and smooth, although not completely silent. Just no annoying squealing or harsh sounds just more of a very light swooshing sound, the manual did say you could add silicone spray if noise did occur.
The seat does have padding and it looks like a nice seat just not that comfy. My son agreed the seat was kinda hard. So if that is an issue for you may be a good idea to get gel seat when ordering. Over all it’s a nice looking bike and does the job.
I will say that if you’re a beginner (like me.) It is very important to make sure you’re riding properly as not to cause injury. I have severe chronic plantar fasciitis and also tarsal tunnel in my foot and ankle, therefore I am unable to walk for exercise but I can ride this bike without pain in order to get some exercise. If you were someone who is use to spinning this bike would still be a good choice.
I have been using this bike for over a month now. It was easy to assemble. It is quiet and smooth while riding. The wheels at one end are handy for moving. I am just over 6 ft and I have it set on the max height setting. I am able to stand while riding hard and it is very stable.
I read several bike reviews to see if I could find a bike that I could afford and would give me the same quality spinning workout I get at my health club class, 24 Hour Fattiness. I tested a few at the sport stores: Sports Authority and Dicks. The reviews and my road test of the bikes were accurate.
The Sunny Health & Fitness Belt Drive Indoor Cycling Bike is a high quality, strong, and super quite bike. Was worried about the quality because it’s so much less expensive than other bikes, but I’m really impressed after getting it home.
A good number of adjustment points, and they all tighten up great; there is no wobble. I almost bought a padded seat because it was so uncomfortable, but instead toughed it out a few weeks, and now it feels fine.
The bike is high performance and a terrific exercise addition. The adjustment knob is a bit annoying, but I think that’s just their nature, and of course, the price. It’s spring-loaded so you press it in to brake. The annoying part is it feels slightly pressed-in sometimes, so without twisting, you can get different resistances.
It’s also impossible to really know what “level” you’re on because it has to spin multiple revolutions. Not a big deals unless you absolutely must keep track of numbers. Last annoying thing is that it’s possible to bump it with your thigh and change the setting if you’re being sloppy.
I have had this Sunny Health & Fitness Belt Drive Indoor Cycling Bike for a couple of weeks now. It is super sturdy and super quiet. It feels just like the bikes at the gym. I didn’t need the fancy computer system so you are paying for all bikes and no extra for the tech stuff.
The bike so far has been a great ride; the resistance is very easy to change. Some bikes at the gym that I have ridden are $2000–2500. This bike obviously may not be as nice as those, but if you aren’t paying that much then this bike is the next best thing.
Sunny Health & Fitness Belt Drive Indoor Cycling Bike is silent, solid and built with durable materials, a plethora of resistance levels sufficient to keep you sweating for years to come, and CHEAP!
You just can’t find a comparably priced machine with this combination of features. This product is so worth it. You really can achieve a total workout at the comfort of your home. This bike is built to last on a budget. Barring some major future setback, I wholeheartedly recommend this item to all buyers!
