It’s not that he is displeased. That’s fine. You can be pissed off. It’s the word he used – and before you jump and down about how it’s not that bad a word, lemme give you some context.

That word alone? Okay not so bad.

That word in a world where women are routinely assaulted, demeaned, downtrodden and denied representation and equal pay?

That word becomes more than just a syllable – it’s a symptom of a greater problem.

I’m asking for a resurgence of decency. It starts with language.

(Also, I’ve heard a few people – all guys for what it’s worth – say that they’d have been called something too. I’m not convinced. And if they were it’d be something less strong and less symptomatic.)
