Yesterday was a day filled with unexpected opportunities and saddening occurrences. I woke up before sunrise to see whether the bathroom was free so I could have a bath. Unfortunately it wasn’t, so I waited and waited until it was no longer vacant. During the waiting period, I raced against the hands of time to serve as many customers as possible to make money. I must say, it was a fun mobile game.

The room got free so I went in to take a bath to go to school. I took the bath, got dressed, ate breakfast, went to school and I expected the day to be like any other ordinary day- how mistaken I was indeed.

A couple of things happened:

· An opportunity to be a homecell leader came up and it was offered to me. I had always wanted to be a leader, so this was a great blessing from God.

· My brothers got into a little altercation- a “sibling quarrel” as some might call it.

The moral of the story is that things don’t always go as we plan them. Today you might plan to complete three things on your priority list but complete none. You might plan to ace the test and find out the following day you failed it. Life is unpredictable. Life is a rollercoaster ride. You have to hold on tight because the ride is long and bumpy.

If you want to achieve abundantly in life, set really low expectations. Your expectations in whatever you do should be really low.
