Lunch and Learn: Tour Wind River’s Mobile Technology ‘Big Rig’

Wind River, the Intel company that put the software brains in Mars Rovers’ and is a partner with dozens of automakers on earth, invites the public to experience the future of transportation by joining us for lunch and a tour of our mobile technology learning center.

Take a peek into the future of autonomous vehicle driving and see how vehicles will soon talk wirelessly to each other, road infrastructure/traffic lights and buildings to help drivers avoid crashes while easing congestion and radically changing the commuting experience.

Nearly 1.3 million people are killed worldwide in traffic-related accidents each year and congestion on our nation’s deteriorating roadways is increasing at alarming rates. But there is a solution on the horizon.
