I remember at a time, I solved a problem at my job as designer with just a copy text. After PM discussed it to the other team which is all are developers -they are all in different timezone with me-, the developers had suggested to explain what is the button about under the button. But thePM (the CEO), disagree with that solution because explain UI means not a good UI. Then I came up with just changed the copy on the button. And it’s solved. So that’s right, designers here are not just always solving on visual or layout only or even the research only. We should thinking about every copy on our product, outside the slogans. Unless you’re designer/art director on Advertising. But in tech industry it’s rarely copywriter (if any) to solve text copy detail on products.
