Rose addition to the Cavaliers will mean another partnership of MVPs. Right now, they are only six active players with a MVP in their cases: Nowitzky, James, Rose, Durant, Curry, and Westbrook. Golden State already have two of them. Cleveland could have two of their own, meaning that four MVP winners (which among them they have won 8 of the last 9) will play in two teams.
Crackpot scenario: Rose goes to the Lakers. Durant wins the 2018 MVP. Lebron and Westbrook goes to the Lakers. Dirk retires. The Pacific Division would have 5 MVP players (and all the remaning active players) and the winners of the last 10 trophies.
