If Social Media Makes You Feel Bad, Quit Using It
Darius Foroux

I think a dangerous thing that you didn’t go into detail about is how when you look at social media everyone seems to be successful and enjoying their lives. You never see people post sad pictures or negative comments (at least not too often) so you start to develop an expectation for how your own life should be. This creates unhappiness because you no longer enjoy the mundane and the simple things such as grabbing coffee with a friend. You become a person that is always looking for the next high in life. Life is not always as exciting as it seems through the lens of social media. It is actually filled with much more “boring” activities than exciting ones, but learning to appreciate and enjoy these moments is what I believe brings true happiness.
