Apple Mac Studio the new Mega Mini Mac

The New Apple Mac Studio is nothing we have seen before, well at least at this size. The last Mac made (as a PC) was the Mac mini which was released in Late 2020. This Mac Studio sets the bar high and even challenges the powerful Mac Pro. The difference is one is as big as a suitcase the other as smaller than a mini fridge. The Mac Studio get be packed with M1 Ultra with a 20-core CPU, 64-core GPU, and a 32-core Neural Engine. Not just that but it can be fitted with 128gb of ram that’s enough to make a video editor cry of happiness. Lastly it can be fitted with 8 whole terabytes of storage not including iCloud storage that can be added later on. But with all this power comes a great price tag of $7,999.00. Good news they have a cheaper version of with the very powerful M1 Max which is still really fast and is used in the new MacBook Pro’s currently. Now lets compare the multi core and single core for the M1 Ultra and the M1 Max. (We are comparing only the base M1 version’s of these chipsets).

So as you clearly see the M1 ultra has over double the amount of Multi core score than the M1 Max. If you are asking what this means is that the the more multi core’s the processor can handle more than just one singular thread. Now the target market for this device is for a business that needs the speed and the ram on a Mac device like YouTube studio or a person that needs to render very intense things. As you clearly see that the Mac studio is not for everyone but the person that needs this sort of power is going to have a massive benefit of using it.
