Dear Diary,

Thankfully after the past few weeks, this one was relatively quiet. I could use a break to just walk around and chat with my friends and keep the town looking nice. No stress or anxiety. But that’s not to say nothing happened!

Gabi decided to give me a new nickname, and it took off pretty quickly. Within the next couple days, a bunch more people had decided they wanted to call me “Sweet-C,” too. Eh, I’ve been called worse…

There was a post on the bulletin board reminding everyone that Festivale is coming. Well, more like a warning, really. To be fair, I love the music and the never-ending confetti that falls from the sky, but Pavé is so high maintenance. Getting him the candies he needs to get the furniture is a complete pain. So I’ll just do a little dancing and call it a day. I’ll mark my calendar!

Okay, so I got this nice letter from Deli, which I thought was very sweet. Until I looked at what he’d enclosed that reminded him of me and it was a trash can. Seriously, dude? That’s some seriously advanced levels of shade you’re throwing there. I hope you’re prepared to get as good as you give!

I got a little excited when Lopez told me he wanted to become roommates, but he was just being a tease. He just wanted some furniture to make his home look better. I had a minimalist chair on me, so I just gave him that. He seemed really happy with it, so I guess he wasn’t really looking to add too much sparkle to his house!

I was getting a little nervous since no one had tried to move out, and I worried that I’d missed the opportunity to intercept someone’s plans and I’d check on my town to find that one of my friends was all packed up to go. Thankfully, that seems to not have been the case. Monty told me he was thinking of skipping town, but I talked him out of it. Gotta keep my monkeys around!

At the end of the week, Lopez asked me to do him a favor. No, not saying a kind word. Burying a time capsule. He wrote himself a nice note to boost his confidence, I guess, so I buried it near his house so when he’s feeling down he can ask me to dig it up and we’ll laugh at whatever nonsense he wrote to himself. Well, I’ll laugh. I don’t know about him. He might take it seriously. Never can tell with these folks!
