Wootini’s Weekly Animal Crossing Diary 9/8/18

Dear Diary,

We had a holiday this week, and I discovered that my generosity towards my friends isn’t always appreciated. It was a little bit heartbreaking, honestly. Let me explain…

I love being able to sneak into the Reset Center to visit with the Resetti Bros. when they leave the manhole open. And even better is when they’re testing their voice activation system and I can send Restti flying off through the wall. Sweet, sweet revenge.

This week was Labor Day, and Isabelle was in the plaza handing out picnic baskets to celebrate the holiday. Of course, it does seem a bit strange that Isabelle wants to celebrate everyone who works so hard in Geneva since she’s the one who does the most work! (Love her overalls, tho!)

I also couldn’t resist taking a snapshot with the cutout, even though I would still love to be able to have a couple friends in the other slots. Sigh. Maybe in the next town I move to…

Shortly after getting my picnic basket from Isabelle I ran into Gabi, who was looking for new furniture for her home. Since I’ve already got a picnic basket, and Isabelle gives the same gift every Labor Day, I gave mine to her and she seemed very excited about it.

Unfortunately, later in the week, I was selling some stuff to Reese at Re-Tail, I happened to notice a game-show stand in the back corner. You might recall, diary, that this was the present that I gave to Lopez for his birthday the other week. I guess now I know what he really thought about his gift. Sigh. I still love him, though.
