Living without expectations
Jason Fried

Great piece once again Jason.

I can echo your thoughts to when I got sober 28 years ago. I learned in the rooms of AA to learn how to live in the “now” Yesterday is gone and tomorrow is not here yet, all we have is today. Learning this helped me to become “mindfully present” and stop “keeping up with what the ideal should be”

It took me a long time — I’d say at least 10 years before I truly got it.

In short we all learn to live with what “is”

Thank you once again
