You Are Not Your Customer
Mitchell Harper

This is an absolute must read for anyone wanting to develop a product or service.

Chances are, the real world folks do not perceive the problem in the same light as you do. I’ve recently watched a founder spend two years building out a solution to a problem in his vertical that he’s been chasing spending hundreds of thousands of dollars on it.

What’s the problem here? He never asked for feedback along the way. The end result, he’s built a beautiful program that nobody wants and is out of money

With the products out there like Bubble, you can build a robust enough MVP to have a workable demo to show people for feedback for next to zero cost. Probably a few days time.

Be smart about this. there is a reason why investors don’t jump on every new idea. take the time to learn why.
