For those of you interested in knowing what The Tuneful Liar is about, here’s the synopsis, The Formula. I wonder if the character Dr. Calomel of Cripple Creek Sanitarium was modeled after the real-life Dr. Kellogg of Battle Creek Sanitarium.

Dr. John Harvey Kellogg, though most famous for his invention of the corn flake, also ran a very successful holistic sanitarium where the ill and infirm would subject themselves to his unique medical practices. Here are some of Dr. Kellogg’s contraptions.
