This is aggravating! I can’t believe the lengths some people would go to just to be unhelpful! I’m getting little freelance gigs here and there, and the other day, after finding out someone was actually willing to pay me, I posted a question along the lines of:
“How much should I charge for _____?”
“That’s an un-answerable question, that’s like asking ‘How much should I charge for _____’”
“I usually charge __ for _____, and the client wants a feature similar to_____, and I’ll mostly be taking care of the _____.”
“_____ already has a feature similar to _____”
“… I’ll just charge __”
