Hello, All. We clearly have a fair number of non-Practicing people reading this article, so I find myself constrained to make a point:

This ritual needs to be practiced with safety measures in place. When you are dealing with energies you may or may not understand, it is always important to take safety precautions. (Think about it: the worst that can happen is you feel a little silly taking “safety precautions” for something that may not even exist. The best that can happen is that you prevent a fairly badass force from entering your life with the sole purpose of making your existence a living hell.)

So what do I mean by “safety precautions?”

First, here’s a big one: DO NOT DO THIS RITUAL IN YOUR HOUSE. (Unless you know how to properly dismiss the energies/entities you are summoning in this ritual!)

Second: CAST A CIRCLE FOR PROTECTION, or if you do not know how to do this, WEAR A PROTECTIVE MEDALLION such as a cross, image of your god/dess, etc.

See? That wasn’t hard. A couple seconds of precaution can really save your skin down the road. Please trust me on this, okay? Thank you.
