I Know You Love Me
Matt Colangelo

Excellent take on modern “love,” Matt. It’s like this until it isn’t; until we know that we have the power to create the exact life we want with ourselves. Loving from there is saner than believing the illusion that we require another person for our lives to feel joyful and satisfying. The byproduct of loving is a whole lot of heartbreak, and that is what makes each love so sweet. My conclusion, after more than two decades of cycling through “semi-committed” relationships, has been to cultivate a rich, interesting, full life of my own. This requires intention and clarity about what works and what doesn’t for me…which, ironically, I developed in the more than two decades of cycling through “semi-committed” relationships. It’s a mystery, wrapped in an enigma. Safe travels.
