Hah, thanks for the compliment! I was born in 84 and I’ve been using computers since I was about 3 years old.

So a good chunk of my gaming childhood was indeed spent in MS-DOS. A friend and I used to write a bunch of terrible programs in QBASIC.

I gravitated towards the MacBook because I was looking for something that was like a better Chromebook, and it delivered ten fold on that front. But I agree with you that Apple’s overall direction in the last few years is rather puzzling.
