A little over a year and a half ago I wrote a post titled Hello Microsoft! In it, I announced that I had accepted what would go on to be the best job I’ve ever had. I still believe all the things that I said in that post, and more. I think Microsoft is in the best place it’s ever been, and that there are so many exciting things ahead for them. I can’t wait to watch, I just won’t be doing it from within Microsoft anymore.
For awhile now I’ve been thinking about what it is I like to do, and what’s next for me. In that thought process, the thing that I kept coming back to was community. I love being involved with the tech and DevOps community. I love going to conferences and engaging with users. I find that lately, these are the things that give me energy. To that end, I’ve accepted a developer advocate position with HashiCorp!
HashiCorp is a company that I’ve had a tremendous amount of respect for over my entire career. I’m continually impressed at their ability to build tools that users are so passionate about. I can’t wait to start working closely with the community of users behind these tools, and I know that I have a lot to learn from them! Hopefully we can all build better products together!
See you all at HashiConf!
