The one and only veteran of Cannes, Rose Ganguzza, made her way to Cannes, France for the iconic film festival this May. Ganguzza, one of the marvelous hosts of the The Art Of Movie Music, describes the week at Cannes as a busy time. Between numerous meetings and black tie screenings and lots of cardio getting between venues, it can be challenging to catch a breath. This year given recent layoffs in the entertainment industries as well as the writers’ strikes it is a tumultuous time to be in entertainment. Nonetheless, it is an exciting time and especially for The Art Of Movie Music and Xavatar.

Ganguzza looked forward to two things with the live production of The Art Of Movie Music at Cannes: the transition from podcast to show and meeting everyone in person. The announcement of the transition being made at Cannes signified a tremendous moment for the TV Show production.

In addition, Cannes allowed many of the members of The Art Of Movie Music to finally meet in person. Despite Ganguzza speaking with her co-hosts and colleagues nearly every week, meeting them for the short period of time in person and the time at Cannes was truly special for her. Ganguzza looks forward to what lies ahead for The Art Of Movie Music as well as what other festivals The Art Of Movie Music be presented at.
