OKB is an ERC20 token issued on the Ethereum blockchain. You do not need a Ledger app specifically for OKB to do so, just for the native network, e.g. Ethereum app. You can store OKB in your Ledger wallet with Ledger Live.

With your Ledger device connected to Ledger Live, you can store, send, receive, or swap your OKB tokens.

You’ll need to Install the Ethereum (ETH) app on your Ledger device to manage OKB with Ledger Live.

This article tutorial explains how you can store OKB with your Ledger wallet.

To fix this

Please download the last update of Ledger Live Application:

  1. Ledger Live for Windows 10/11
  2. Ledger Live for MAC
  3. Ledger Live for Android
  • Download, install, and set up the Ledger Live app with your device.
  • Update the firmware on your Ledger device to the latest version.

Install the Ethereum (ETH) app on your Ledger device

  • Connect your Ledger device to the computer.
  • Open the Ledger Live app on your computer and navigate to the My Ledger tab.
  • Connect and unlock your Ledger device. If asked, allow My Ledger to access your device.
  • Search for the Ethereum (ETH) app in the app catalog.
  • Click the Install button to install the app on your Ledger device.
  • Wait for your Ledger device to display Processing and Ledger Live to display Installed.
  • Now you’ve successfully installed the Ethereum (ETH) app.

Create your first Ethereum (ETH) account in Ledger Live

  • Open the Ledger Live app on your computer.
  • Connect your ledger device to the computer and unlock it.
  • Navigate to the Accounts tab, and click on the Add Account button.
  • Click on the box and select Ethereum (ETH), and click Continue.
  • Wait for the Ethereum (ETH) account to be added.
  • Now to the Account and click on the Ethereum (ETH) account you just created.
  • Click on the Receive tab and click Continue.
  • Ledger Live and your Ledger device will display your Ethereum (Ethereum) address.
  • Verify this address on your device and click Confirm.
  • This address can be used to deposit OKB (ERC20) and other ERC20 tokens you want to store in your Ledger wallet.
