Intro

The Y2K team is excited to share that our UI V2 is Officially Live! 🎉🎉

The entire dev team has been hard at work behind the scenes, aiming to deliver the best possible user experience for our Doomies going forward.

In this release, we’ve introduced many new efficiencies, data enrichment, and overall aesthetics compared to UI V1 🫡.

With this major upgrade in place, we’ve included a more robust underlying framework to clear the pathway for an even brighter Y2K future ahead ☀️😎.

Note: Only the pegged asset category will be available upon launch

UI V2 Launch User Guide

Our biggest change is a redesign of the entire user flow, starting with our markets page.

Markets Page:

Market Overview Statistics:

  • Number of markets, that includes all deployed and accessible through http://app.y2k.finance
  • Current TVL: Total amount of deposits actively in Y2K Earthquake vaults
  • Upcoming Epoch Emissions: Amount of Y2K tokens to be distributed to depositors in the next epoch
  • Epoch timers now available at the top showing start and end times.

Markets Search Bar + Filters:

Introducing the ability to search markets based on keyword or asset.

Users will be able to filter ‘hot’ markets and their ‘favorites’

Market Type Grouping + Statistics:

Users are now able to see useful, top-line statistics for asset categories

  • Number of markets, Current TVL, Deposit Assets
  • Highest collateral ROI: Highest calculated ROI for collateral side
  • Highest premium multiplier: Highest calculated multiplier for premium side
  • Positions: Number of positions that exists in the respective group for the connected wallet

New ‘Quick Mint’ + Other Ways to Mint:

From the home page you now have the option to ‘Quick Mint’:

On the category overview page users can also now directly mint next to each position:

On the asset page itself, users can mint positions in two new areas as well:

Lastly, each of these ways to mint lead to a familiar page that users can fill with their inputs:

Asset Page:

Another huge upgrade is our new Asset Page design!

Asset Quick look stats:

Users can see statistics for individual assets

  • Asset price, current value deposited, & 3 months chart with strike price mark.

Scrollable Sub-Markets w/ Quick Stats + Charting:

Users can see their overall personal positions, as well key information graphed 👀 over multiple time periods.

  • Scrollable Markets, Strike Price, Collateral ROI, Prem Multiplier, Epoch times, TVL, and more.

Mint Page + Positions Page:

Mint page has familiar inputs and readouts that are largely the same as UI V1.

A dedicated positions tab that shows users’ positions and information summary for an asset.

My Portfolio + Rollovers:

We now have the ability for users to see all of their existing positions from one convenient dashboard

  • Users will be able to see: current status, asset attributes, position information, action items such as ‘Rollover’ and ‘Claim’, and more.

Rollovers are now easier than ever, with all information displayed in one screen

Users will be able to see expected ROI/Payout/Emissions/Fees

Back on the My Portfolio tab, users will be able to toggle between their current position, and committed rollover positions per asset

There is an optional button to ‘Delist’ rollover positions

Conclusion

With this powerful new upgrade of UI V2, users will be able to open and manage their positions with the most ease and data at their fingertips than ever before.

Unseen improvements underneath the hood also allow for a much more upgrades and additions in the near future 👀.
