A Lesson in Stereotype Threat Avoidance
Thaddeus Howze

My personal favorite is how they write black people in to act white. I look at that and shake my head. They may as well have just used a white person. Why is it so hard for them to get to know us? We are human beings with feelings, ideas, dreams, creativity and deserve the same chances as them. We’ve been forced all of our lives to “know” them and their history, while ours has been white-washed away. It’s past time they did the same.

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
