No one can deny the power of habits on our life, they either make it better or worse, thus choosing the right ones is crucial.

A habit is a behavior that is beneficial to one’s physical or mental health, usually repeated on a daily basis. They don’t require any willpower to get them done and by time, they turn out to be with a huge effect.

1. Reading

Reading books, especially non-fiction ones, is one of the most powerful habits out there because, the author of the book put all his knowledge, experience, and conclusions that took years, into a book whereas you can read it within hours. There’s a 3 Books-Rule which says that reading only 3 books on a specific subject makes you more knowledgeable than 99% of the population in that particular field.

It doesn’t mean that you have to read a book per day, go easy! I personally read for 15 minutes every time before I sleep (as a result, better sleep quality). With simple math, 15 minutes x 30 days = 7.5 hours. A book per month, is better than nothing.

2. Sport

Having the habit of doing sport daily is really fundamental as it helps you reduce stress, stretch in the morning, provide energy, better sleep quality, build muscles, be healthy, and the list continues…

When it comes to me, I exercise every morning for only 5 minutes, that’s it! You can’t imagine its effect on me, believe it or not, without any diet, without any equipment, only at home and I was able to get abs, do the right push-ups, and build some strength, the only secret is consistency.

3. Meditation

During the time when everyone is distracted, while we live in stress consistently, giving ourselves some break and relieving stress is essential. Just pause where you’re right now, and focus on having three deep breaths. Over the sky!

What if you’ll set it as a habit, for sure you will be more a calm person, that knows himself, and forgets about insomnia and overthinking. Just as 10 minutes as soon as you wake up, before you sleep, or just whenever you’re comfortable, can make a huge difference in your life.

What are you waiting for, save this article, schedule those habits in your day, stick to them, and come back when you see results. And remember, it’s about consistency.
