To recap,— truth by revelation or in this case identification is in my view not a rational argument. I will though concur that trans ideology has some internally consistent elements of logic — such as inthe odious cotton ceiling idea. If you are not au fait with the cotton ceiling then this quote from trans woman Julia Serano on the unfairness of lesbian women turning her down for sex sums it up:
“when the overwhelming majority of cis dykes date and fuck cis women, but are not open to, or are even turned off by, the idea of dating or fucking trans women, how is that not transphobic?”
Calling gay and lesbian people bigoted transphobes for their sexual preference sits uneasily with me and also with many trans advocates who wish to disassociate themselves from this concept, who see it as an embarrasing and extremist stance within their own movement. After all the idea that gay people should be shamed for not sleeping with male bodied people, doesnt speak of the greatest tolerance or acceptance of gay rights, the stable from which trans rights sprang. Like a fratricidal adoptee, the T having used the warmth of its siblings to gestate has now hatched and pushed the L, the G and the B out of the nest.
However much even more moderate tran activists wish to ignore it, the cotton ceiling and its attendant erasing of the concept of homosexuality is entirely logical if you accept the premise at the heart of trans politics; that a man is a woman if he says so. At first women tried to accomadate the trans position. They accepting this logical fallacy, by way of a linguistic fudge; ceding the noun woman to refer to a social category, whilst maintaining the adjectives male and female to refer to the underlying biological reality. One could then refer to a male bodied trans woman. But this too was deemed unacceptable to the trans purists who argued, that if someone was a woman then their anatomy was by definition female. And lo with this sleight of hand the female penis was born.
On its heels followed the assertation that lesbians should suck on said female penis. After all lesbians are attracted to other women and why would a lesbian refuse to press her lips to the genitals of a woman purely based on a minor physical difference… like a penis? Of course a female penis is entirely different to a male penis, being as it is attached to a woman. In short lesbians have been called transphobic bigots for declining to have sex what most outside of SJA circles would call straight men. This looks awfully similar to the enforced heterosexuality of yesteryear and the violence threats against lesbians who dare to refuse raises the spectre of corrective rape.
It’s like a maths equation where we work through all the steps methodically yet come up with an extraordinary answer which most people, even outside of progressive circles would call out as clearly in error. So we retrace our steps to look for the line where we made a misatke. Yet if the logical steps we have taken are sound then there is only one possilbe conclusion — the original sum is wrong: TW=W is false.
Many people of course never beleived this equation in the first place but for the sake of compassion they went along with it to try to be nice, to be inclusive because we are told inclusion is always a good thing even with words. Even when their purpose is to give meaning which by definition is to exclude other meanings. A star excludes a pillow. A cow excludes an antelope. A diamond exlcudes a whale.
Yet trans ideology refuses to accept that its premise is the problem and thus insists the answer is valid. Ergo lesbians are bigots. And what of gay men? We never hear a jot about trans men demanding sexual access to gay men. Where are the trans men shouting “Suck my male pussy you transphobic poofs” If they did gay men would laugh in their faces and tell trans men where to go. Men you see are allowed boundaries which they are allowed to enforce. Wheareas women, having been trainied since birth to please and appease others, to negate their own boundaries. Young gay women are being forced to literally swallow this load of jizz. A To paraphrase Voltaire, those who get you belive absurdities, can make your commit atrocities.
In Transland you have a choice — to homophobic and misogynistic or transphobic. The entire trans arguement is reliant on an unprovable premis. I reject the post modern concept that all narratives are equally valid. You can claim all you like that 2+2=5 but it will never actually make it so. I choose womens rights, I choose gay peoples rights, I choose the scientific method. I choose reality.
The alternative is to choose an Orwellian nightmare, where we must all take the party line on pain of (social) death.
