I stumbled on this 30 Days Writing Challenge, it has different topics for each day, which is good, as it solves a part of my problem — what to write about. At the same time, it also creates a problem — Soul searching. I don’t like tampering with settled water, I’ll rather hover on the surface provided I am aware of what’s in its depth. This is #Day3 of the #30DaysWritingChallenge. You can find the previous ones on my profile here

I am very liberal, accommodating and calm. My girlfriend found this difficult to accept initially, she felt I was forming, as per first few months of the relationship. The regular things I think upset people just doesn’t get to me easily. I ensure that I put adequate distance between myself and the wall, such that it is difficult for you to push me to the wall. You can easily disappoint me, but not upset me. I’ll just overlook it and remain indifferent. I can choose what I decide to get to me, but then, there are some things that really tick me off.

Wickedness: Wickedness can be relative and generic at the same time. You can define it to your taste. A wicked person or act ticks me off. Wickedness, most times is born out of selfishness. A wicked person is an unfair person, a wicked act is an unfair act. Wickedness can vary from corruption to murder. It could be as trivial as bullying. Wickedness is evil!

People who don’t follow through: I don’t want heaven and earth, but when you say you’ll get something done at a particular time, just make it happen. If it is not going to happen, I should know before then so I can prepare my mind. Unreliable people tick me off. Sigh! They push me to the wall faster, but that’s after I have given them multiple and countless opportunities to prove me wrong.

Pot-holes: Lol. It is actually not funny, but I hate potholes. If I ever become a commissioner or hold a public office, roads will be my priority. I believe everyone deserves a tarred road. And it is actually wickedness when there are funds allocated to build roads but then it is embezzled. I’ll sha keep quiet, but, know that deep down in me, it pisses me off. I detest bad roads!

I can forgive someone who breaks my phone screen or hit my car from behind (I have actually done this before, I looked at the damage, looked at the man, shook my head for him and zoomed off, there was no point). But if you were responsible for fixing a road, and you don’t, I might not forgive you till Jesus comes.

Not only are you endangering lives by your recklessness, you are also making living and commuting difficult for people. It is so annoying! In fact, this should be the first on the list! Bad roads/pot-holes are the root of all wickedness! Mtcheew! Writing this is even annoying because the road to my house is not good.

Do you know pot-holes causes traffic, accidents and so on? Arrgh!

People Crossing the highway: If we have ever gone out together, you’ll know the intensity at which I write this. It is super freaking annoying when people cross the highway when there is no Zebra crossing or when there is a pedestrian bridge some meters away. Like, why do you want to kill yourself? So you just wake up one morning and decide to play Baba Ijebu with your life. SMH. I’ll stop here

People that drive and don’t trafficate when making a major turn too, I am not sure those ones are even fine. And those reckless Danfos that stop indiscriminately on the road, God is watching them.

Tomorrow is #Day4. I am writing on someone who inspires me.
