A STON.FI Guide: How to buy TON in Telegram P2P market.
Do you have your telegram wallet already setup?
Then you can begin the journey to buy $TON on telegram with ease.
TON is the native token of the decentralized layer-1 blockchain, The Open Network.
TON is required to begin any transaction in the domain of TON blockchain and here is an article on how to buy TON for the first time.
Step 1:
Go to your Telegram profile and click on “Wallet” to begin your journey.
Step 2:
Tap on “P2P Market to proceed to the buying phase.
Step 3:
You will see an interface showing you different options (Buy, Sell, My Ads and so on). Tap on “Buy” since our aim is to buy TON.
Step 4:
This involves you selecting the currency you are buying with.
As a Nigerian, I will be making use of the “NGN” peer “currency” for this guide.
On the crypto option, there are presently four crypto assets (USDT, TON, BTC & NOT) you can buy. This guide is for buying TON, so I will select “TON”
To make it more easier for you, instead of having to scroll down for your price limit, you can simply input the price of TON you want to buy in your selected currency on the “amount” section. I will input 100,000 naira for this guide.
Step 5:
This part is essential to stay safe while trading. After you have input your buying price, you have the option to select the Merchant you want to trade with.
Note: there are trade ratings opposite the merchant’s name, showing the number of times they have traded. Be sure to trade with the merchants with the best ratings.
Step 6:
Select the merchant of your choice and proceed to inputting the value of the asset you want to purchase (Buy) and then tap on “BUY”.
Step 7:
The next step is reading through the trading terms of the merchant you are trading with and then tap on “CREATE ORDER” and wait for the merchant to confirm your order and then you can proceed to pay.
Note: when you click to confirm order and you don’t complete the order, it reduces your rating and ability to use the P2P Market
Step 8:
You will be notified when the merchant has confirmed your order and request you to make payment.
Tap on “View Order” to proceed to making your payment.
Step 9:
Make payment to the Merchant’s correct bank account, according to his description and make sure you input the precise amount of your buy order and according to his trading description (some sellers will require you to pay round figures).
Step 10:
Tap on “I made a payment” after you have successfully made the payment to the seller (Merchant) and upload the receipt showing the proof of payment in the next page.
Finally, click on “Confirm and Send” and then wait for the seller to release your asset to your @wallet
Note that you can’t engage in a p2p trade if you haven’t verified your account and this is the simple way to get verified below ⬇️
Click “Verify Account” and then input your details and use a government owned ID to get verified.
You will receive a notification after your data have been successfully accessed.
