Some Thoughts
This article was taken from an email I wrote to a close friend of mine
These days I’ve been reading up on the app market.
Here is an article that I found interesting -

Its amazing that the app market ( only having to exist for last than a decade) is already showing signs of eliminating the middle-class apps. Technology is moving super fast.
I am working in the most advanced field and seeing the changes. Lately we just wrapped up a pitch for a smart luggage and what I’ve learned is there’s no use to chase after technology. We have to catch it while it runs towards us like a rabbit.
Here is a simple question. How many actual geniuses have you ever met in your life? Probably close to 0. Thats because theres not as nearly enough geniuses as we “like” to think. I say “like” because its an excuse to not try. So the question comes down to why are they able to do what we assume to be superman tasks? I think its a matter of paying attention.
Technology wise there are companies thats been developing forever. What I think we can do is to pay attention to what will be lacking on the human level and start creating ideas base on that before the market opens up. We are trying to counter things that aren’t even real yet.
This is the part where I’m going to stop talking like I’m high and focus on things that we can actually do.
I consider our generation to be different than Zuckberg’s. They celebrate the super-nerds and their market is creating apps. Our generation is celebrating no one and our market is redifining objects with the newly attained knowledge of technology.
How will human beings relationship with tangible objects change when everyone gets a pair of VR? The reason why I keep referring to VRs is because apps and everything WILL be included with that pair of headset. So when the time comes, what will they need? would chairs still be designed the same? what will we be missing in the future that we have now? There is a market that I see.
This is what I’m proposing for us to start thinking -
What kind of designs or business will exist in a world that has perfect AI and VR?
Also something I also think will happen is that people won’t need to work anymore in the future, since AI +human population should be greater than human population. A good amount of people will not have to work by 2045. What can we do with that?
