If you have a website, a blog or a news outlet and it has an RSS feed, you can easily notify your readers about new content using a new tool -http://rssyo.com

Steps:

  1. Create a Yo account that will be used for your updates notifications.

Use your own username and passcode.

If you don’t remember them use http://recover.justyo.co or email contact@justyo.co

If you don’t have an account, download Yo and create one: http://justyo.co

2. Once you’re in create a New API Account

Choose a username for your notifier. For example, if your blog’s name is JOHNBLOG you can try JOHNBLOG.

This is the username your subscribers will get Yo’d from.

Great!

3. Now you have an API account and you should see its key in the dashboard.

Copy the key and open http://rssyo.com

4. This is how http://rssyo.com looks:

Simply paste your website’s RSS URL and the key in the API Key field!

Now tell your readers to subscribe to your Yo notification simply by sending a Yo to your API account username (i.e JOHNBLOG)

Done! Happy Yoing!
