Motorola is going to use the Yo platform to release their long awaited Moto 360 smart watch and here is how they’re going to do it:

Motorola fans have 24 hours to send a Yo to the MOTOROLA account for a chance to win the new Moto 360. Tomorrow, at 3pm CST, Motorola will send a Yo to all of their subscribers with a link for an early chance to get the Moto 360. The first 20 people to click the link from Motorola will win a new Moto 360 as a part of Motorola’s first release of the watch.

Moto 360’s limited release on the Yo platform demonstrates the power Yo can offer brands. Here, Yo is used as a product launch pad for Motorola, providing a company with an innovative way to engage and communicate with their loyal customers and the growing Yo user base. As Motorola continues to build their Yo subscriber base, they’ll be able to use the communications channel to announce discounts, breaking news and new products to those who have opted in.

Brands and business have begun to use the Yo platform in a variety of different ways. This ranges from breaking news alerts to goal updates from soccer matches, and even earthquake alerts. The possibilities for businesses using Yo are endless and we are thrilled to have Motorola as the first company to launch a product on the Yo platform!

Happy Yo’ing,

The Yo Team
