Why I Put Some Ice on That Bern

Nice, and well written, but you have made a few points that I don’t agree with. I’ll list them for you…

First of all, you seem to equate being “more liberal” with being a better candidate, which is not necessarily the case, although I myself identify as liberal.

Next, while I think it’s EXCELLENT that Hillary is focused on LGBT rights, it is not the most importent issue our country faces.

When you defend Hillary with the question, “Why wasn’t Obama targeted by his accusation,” you don’t actually defend her position, you just divert attention to Obama, an argumentative fallacy commonly known as “tu quoque”. I don’t think getting money off Wall Street is an admirable thing. I don’t think Obama is the best candidate in the world, but the Republicans running against him, specifically John McCain, were not going to do anything good for America…

Your argument for why the Republicans aren’t abusing Sanders is, with all due respect, speculation. You may be right, however, so I won’t be too judgemental. :D

Please don’t dispute polls with polls, especially if you aren’t going to source either.

I agree that her views on the lives of individual Americans are excellent, but the US is in a state of collapse right now. We DO NEED the things that you’ve listed, but we also need a way out of our economic collapse.

You are forgetting that the mother figure has a paternal counterpart. If you have trouble with this metaphor, think of it this way… Hillary Clinton may listen well, but does an aspiring president’s listening ability or aura (for lack of a better word) directly correlate with how much they care about the American people?

Your final mental trip is fascinating, but I don’t think that the main majority of the US is on the right, simply by looking at what the right is spewing/regurgitating and personal experience.

I hope to hear back from you, it was a very interesting article!
