Williams can’t really play alongside Beal AND Wall, but BB can. He’s also bigger, a more adequate defender and might be easy to resign.

Also, and this is a big one, Williams is a career-long weak postseason performer. Look it up. From Philly, to ATL, to TOR, he’s been universally bad when the games matter most.
