Be weary of the ‘class valedictorian’.

He’s not the most hard working, most ethical, driven by values one. He’s the most popular one.

The one who does everything by the rules and games the system perfectly to be the most popular. It’s a popularity contest.

I’d argue that the most valuable knowledge when introduced will make you an outsider not a valedictorian.

So be very careful of those people. They’re perfect drones, not original thinks and innovators willing to upset the status quo because it’s the right thing to do and they got a mission bigger than themselves.
