Is Your Child’s Car Seat Secure? Evenflo Has Just Recalled 56,000 Seats

Multiple news reports have indicated that Evenflo has recently decided to launch a recall that impacts over 56,000 units of its 3-in-1 car seats.

The decision to launch the recall is tied to the fact that the pieces used to loosen the harnesses in these car safety seats may be within reach of the child being restrained. These pieces, known as Central Front Adjusters, may end up being handled by the child and the straps may end up becoming loose. If that’s the case and the child loosens the piece while the vehicle is in use, the child may end up not being properly secured. To avoid injuries in the event of a crash, the company launched the recall campaign promptly.

Consumers with the recalled car seats are being urged to check on the seats labels carrying the models and manufacture dates and looking for the numbers 34411686, 34411695, or 34411029.

The company will be sending the remedy kit to impacted consumers.
