Sit-Stand Desk Converters Recalled After Incidents

We all know somebody — if not ourselves — who owns one of these, or who at least is an enthusiast of using standing desks while at work. But how many people do you know who would quickly respond to this recall, having their products returned or replaced as soon as possible to avoid incidents?

According to the US Consumer Product Safety Commission, the Sit-Stand Desk Converters sold under the model number UPS147 come with pneumatic lifting mechanisms that could pinch or break fingers during use or assembly. So far, Square Grove has learned of at least two incidents associated with the recalled products. A broken finger and a bruise were reported.

Consumers are being urged to stop using the recalled converters as soon as possible. Contact the firm and have it send a free repair kit to your home.
