Your Harley Might Expose You to Crash Risks

Multiple news reports have indicated that thousands of Harley-Davidson vehicles are being recalled over a possible crash risk.
The official recall announcement published by the US National Highway Traffic Safety Administration shows that Harley-Davidson launched the recall after learning that the 2016 Electric Glide Ultra Classic (FLHTCU), Electra Glide Ultra Classic Low (FLHTCUL), Ultra Limited Low (FLHTKL), Ultra Limited (FLHTK), CVO Street Glide (FLHXSE), Street Glide (FLHX), Street Glide Special (FLHXS), Road Glide Special (FLTRXS), Road Glide (FLTRX), Police Electra Glide (FLHTP), Road Glide Ultra (FLTRU), Fat Boy S (FLSTFBS), Softail Slim S (FLSS), and CVO Softail Pro Street Breakout (FXSE) motorcycles could experience some crash risks.
The vehicles may come with clutch master cylinders that could lose their ability to create the necessary lift to have the clutch disengaged. Since this problem may occur while the engine is running and the motorcycle in gear, the motorcycle may move unexpectedly and a crash may occur.
Owners with the impacted bikes are being urged to avoid ignoring the potential risks and Harley-Davidson should soon be able to contact all impacted individuals. Once your vehicle is inspected, the clutch master cylinder will be inspected for the presence of gas in the fluid. If necessary, the clutch system will be flushed and the clutch master cylinder will be rebuilt for free.
Safety advocates are urging Harley-Davidson riders to avoid ignoring this campaign.
