Why i’m here and who am I.

About four years ago, I did a campaign called “You are not alone” (feel free to click on it to know what I speak of ) while recovering from medical depression and anxiety. While doing that campaign I reached to about 100+ people also dealing with mental illness and physical illnesses. Until this day I talk to them here and there checking up on their recovery and some are well recovered and living the happy life, the universe destined them to have.

However, I do admit that I distance myself from that campaign only for the reason there was a lot of changes in my life happening. From graduating from high school and entering college and realizing that I still had a lot of recovering to do; to be able to be stable and continue helping people that are seeking for company and help.

So if there is anything i’m trying to reach out to tell you guys is that I am a person who from heart loves to help people who want to be helped.

So let me start by introducing myself and tell you a bit about who I am.

Hello, my name is Stephanie. I am a current College Student majoring in Psychology. I am blue personal character, meaning my weakness is helping and loving. As well as I am a Buddhist and a spiritual person. I love to write (as you will notice for future posts) I’m a big fan of meeting people and learning about their interests and personalities.

But.. I am also a survivor from bullying, abuse, rape. I suffered from mental depression, anxiety, self-harm, and suicide thoughts. (Maybe in time, I will be able to write out my story and let you guys know why I understand anyone who’s suffered from this, and why I have a strong desire to be able to help as many people as possible who deserve to hear “you are worthy of being here.” or simply know they are not alone.

“If you light a lamp for someone it will also brighten your path” a famous quote by the one and only Buddha. I live by this and I will continue to live by this, only because it reminds me of why I do this and why I have the desire of it. Knowing I helped quite a few people to their recovery made me realize that it was the best feeling that not anything in this world could bring me.

So all I am trying to say is, I hope you continue to follow me through with the future posts to help you with your struggles and even recovery. Better yet it will make me the happiest person on earth knowing you’re welcoming me inside your world to let me even help you. If any of you ever need anything to ever reach to me, My Instagram's DMS are ALWAYS open for you to come talk to me. So I thank all of you for being able to let me in and let me help you.
