Experience, Instead Of Seeking, What’s Already Here
Tao Of Yummi, Sutra 23, Microsutra 4/6
Are you ready to realize higher Self? Do you have what you need? You are never ‘less than’ and always enough. How can this guide your realization?
You’re an authentic expression of the Universe. Nothing changes this without changing the nature of reality. Realize: you and the Universe unfold together. You go where the Universe, which is also you, sends you. Face opportunity by living into purpose.
So many who seek have not yet found. You can understand intellectually that there is a larger whole and look for it everywhere…else. Intellectual understanding and realization through direct experience occur in two different hemispheres of your brain. Your left hemisphere is logical and utilitarian-skills oriented. Your right hemisphere is experiential and creative-insight oriented. The utilitarian limits of your left hemisphere tend to constrain the limitlessly creative nature of your right hemisphere, as you must use your skills: language, math, writing and logic to navigate a world in which you interact with others through these skills. Intellectual understanding can lead to expectations that cannot be realized…because understanding does not originate in experience. Attachment to expectations carries you away from experience, which can only be found in the current moment. Seeking your higher Self implies that you need to look elsewhere.
Instead of developing an understanding of ‘less than’ and looking for something you need to get elsewhere — open to what you are, which is always enough. Be mindful in the moment to experience the delightful and unexpected. It’s already here, already yourSelf.
