Stay Deep

Tao of Yummi, Sutra 27, Microsutra 4/6

Do you ever feel the pressure to ‘show’ how smart, wise, or valuable you are? You are needed, constantly, both by those you know and total strangers. Rather than ‘showing’ value, simply create authentic value as the opportunity arises…because you can be sure it will arise. The direction you face is forward. Living purposefully, mindful in the moment, you will perceive opportunities all around that will pull on the value that is yours’ to give. You are too precious to push and ‘show’…too much required and utilized.
 
The authentic value you create is essential value. Own this. Practice mindfulness consistently, everywhere you find yourSelf. Go deep. It’s worth it. Practice from a deep place and work at that level. It’s your choice. Listen deeply. Look deeply. Love deeply. Keep yourSelf deep down, with a strong foundation. Not submerged, but solid, at depth, for a good reason — like the roots of a giant Eucalyptus, 50 meters beneath the surface.
 
It can be as simple as listening to a friend. Sometimes they will ask your advice. Sometimes, they’ll just need the ear of one who makes them feel safe. Either way, you are helping. Either way, you are trusted and living into purpose. Your advice will be requested in time, at the right time. Be patient. Ask questions. Own your authentic value. You are needed, and need not force it. Inspiration will arrive, delightful and unexpected.
 
You can dig into life using insight and mindfulness as your ancient tool. Be mindful of your thoughts and reactions. Consider what is happening and how it works. Examine your life. Learn from yourSelf in the moment. The authentic value that is yours’ to give will be ready. Work deep in yourSelf for treasures of the heart, mind and spirit.
