Thanks Alivia, there are many doors into the same place. One opportunity is to regard that pang of anxiety over loss as a reminder to become mindful and open to as much of the moment as possible. It’s where all the good stuff resides: love, inspiration, creativity. Brains can be trained to form new pathways…and the response to risk is an ancient lizard brain reaction to “fight or flight,” even when there’s no t-rex present. Another addition to your mindfulness practice can be gratitude as a creative opportunity. When you’re in the creative space, fear doesn’t take hold in the same way, and the gifts from the Universe are all worthy of gratitude. You can create more value, more gratitude, and refocus…the Tao of Yummi is about finding more of these pathways through the simple opportunities we’re presented in each moment. In my mind, this is distilled into a practice of serendipity — living into purpose, mindful in the moment, we open to the delightful and unexpected. I’m always glad to answer questions, so please don’t hesitate. Sincere namaste.
