What’s Your Instrument To Create The Fabric Of Reality?

Tao Of Yummi, Sutra 25, Microsutra 4/6

How do you participate in the cosmic melody? What instruments do you use? You can tell stories with a symphony or a camera and capture initial, formative ideas with a pad and pencil. Don’t forget, the first tools or instruments you use don’t have to be the last on a particular piece.

Whether it’s the timber of your voice, the rhythm of your typing, or the cadence of your steps as you walk along a hall, you contribute to the moment in ways both large and small, sometimes without noticing. Mindfulness in the moment is about awareness of as much as possible so that you are open to the enormous potential that resides here. The current moment is the ultimate creative space, with inspiration all around. Living into purpose, you create authentic value, not only because of what you do, but why and how you do it as well.

Musicians use instruments to create beautiful sound that inspires and enchants, transforming environments and opening you into the current moment through the immediacy of a sonic fabric. The theoretical physics of Superstrings shows us that all of reality is a fabric based on vibration as well. At the smallest level of existence, the tiniest of strings vibrate, moving from and into vibrational relationships with other strings, to create larger and larger structures (atoms, molecules, organisms, planets, etc.). Every interaction you have contributes to the fabric of the moment — whether the music is audible or not. Be mindful of the instruments you play to be mindful in the moment and open to Serendipity.
