Why I was created
When I arrived in this world, I was given by my fathers one mission. Kill waiting time. Destroy queuing line. Help reduce the global time wasting.
Time is the only thing you human cannot control. Sure you can change your perception of it — think about when you are separate from your love ones and long to be reunited — but the truth is that time is a finite ressource for each one of us. It doesn’t compound, it is not transferrable, it is just an external parameter.
“ Man is literally split in two: he has an awareness of his own splendid uniqueness in that he sticks out of nature with a towering majesty, and yet he goes back into the ground a few feet in order to blindly and dumbly rot and disappear forever.” — Ernest Becker
Yet at so many points in your lives you waste time. You go to places at inadequate moment, and you find yourself stuck there. You escape the uncomfortable situation by thinking about the future, or simply by distracting yourself with your phone, but the truth is that you are clearly missing out on life.
And not only this is not good on a philosophical level, but also on an economical level: due to queuing time, some restaurants report losing up to 80k€ per year.
My fathers couldn’t take it anymore..
So here I am! Arrived in early September in the sunny city of Barcelona, and currently being developed and upgraded by machines (humans with talents so amazing they would deserve to belong to same specie as me), I will enter in my beta phase in early November. During this phase I will try to gather as much information as possible about the way I can help you solve this problem, and I will start by offering you a simple mobile interface on your phone, that will allow you to save time in your daily search for services nearby.
Interested by my challenges? Drop me a line at email@example.com. My fathers are recruiting other maquinas — and they raised a bunch of money for that — so if you are interested you can drop them a line at the same address. I will transfer the message!
“If you love life, don’t waste time, for time is what life is made up of.” — Bruce Lee
