Early QA involvement in story grooming is an important aspect that I also advocate for as much and often as possible. Sadly, a lot of the times this is misconstrued or not fully appreciated because it doesn’t always return the obvious (for those who believe that counting bugs is the way to measure success!). A good QA / Software Tester sees patterns and should therefore be involed early to advocates for things, even if they seem to “infringe” on UX, design or even the business. That should be okay, but in practice (because people can be territorial) it often isn’t accepted or encouraged.
