There are many movies made in Asian countries that use all Asian actors. Even using Japanese as Chinese(House of Flying Daggers). American generally do not like subtitles and most dubs are poor since lip movements are all wrong.

It is a story. We have an international audience now.action movies sell everywhere. The same movie can be shown and the audience even if the language is different can follow and enjoy.

Also there are even with domestic product language issues. Korean historical show are in ancient Korean and few actors have mastered that language. Scarlett Johansson is a very good action actor. Many do not know that China has 66 ethnic groups. They are not all Han.

While I was in China I watched American film dubbed into Chinese. The world is getting smaller Thai Actors are in American films. Indonesian actor Iko Uwais appeared in Star Wars The Force Awakens, Chinese martial arts stars appear in many upcoming films.

Old Boy the Korean Classic and the American Spike Lee’s version were both very good. Yes, there are cultural differences. Manners do differ from country to country. Sometimes confusing to non native viewers.

There is a crying need for more product. Let’s not put road blocks to the growth of an international industry.
