Palazzo Massimo is one of the most famous museums in Rome. It collects most of the roman copies of hellenistic masterpieces, together with bronze artworks and the paintings and mosaics of roman villas. It includes also a cabinet of coins and medals and other wonderful collections, like the bronzes rescued from the Nemi ships or the mummy of Grottarossa.

The collection of Statues is really huge. The museum shows a wide selection of roman copies and originals, from the late Roman Republic until the III century.
