Today I was at GraphQL Meetup. Unfortunately, I haven’t taken any photos, but it was very good!

The first talk “ GraphQL over REST: Building a GraphQL API proxy on top of existing REST endpoints” by Alexis Mas was very interesting, but he talked very fast and the presentation was very short so that sometimes I was overwhelmed by information.

The second talk, “ A Game of Data and GraphQL” by Michael Hunger was also very good, but a little bit too long. The talk was about data from “Game Of Thrones” and GraphQL plugin for Neo4J.

I find Neo4J database very interesting, but I haven’t found any good applications in my projects now (but I have some ideas).

I don’t know so much about GraphQL but I find the idea interesting. And now I saw how people implement and use it and that now it starts exploding in popularity. Currently, I also haven’t used GraphQL in my projects, but I’m curious to see what will happen with this technology!
