Zebi launched its own Mainnet, i.e. Zebi Public Blockchain on August 15th, 2019. With the launch, Zebi introduced a new utility token, known as Zebi Token (ZEBI). The existing ZCO holders can swap their ZCO tokens to new Zebi tokens (ZEBI) within 90 days from the date of swapping i.e. August 29, 2019 at 09:00 AM (UTC). Zebi tokens (ZEBI) can be used for staking and transactions on ZPB.
Why Zebi Token (ZEBI)?
Zebi Coin (ZCO) was based on Ethereum (ERC20 standards). Zebi Public Blockchain is based on COSMOS framework and Tendermint core at the backend.
In order to support the new framework, Zebi has introduced a new Zebi token (ZEBI). It is a utility token that can be used for staking and transactions on ZPB.
Zebi Public Blockchain i.e., Zebi’s Mainnet brings together the data providers, data custodians, and data requestors across various domains and verticals in a secure manner. Zebi Public Blockchain is a 3rd generation public blockchain platform after Bitcoin (1.0) and Ethereum (2.0).

Token Swaps
ZEBI token now exists on Binance Chain also adhering to BEP2 standards; Binance’s blockchain was launched in April 2019 and hosts the Binance Decentralized Exchange (Binance DEX). Several of the ERC20 ZCO holders have already swapped their ERC20 tokens for BEP2 ZEBI tokens.
Token swap from ERC20 ZCO to Zebi token (ZEBI) is live now. Token holders can swap their ERC20 tokens to ZEBI tokens within 90 days from the date of swapping i.e. August 29, 2019 at 09:00 AM (UTC). Visit the Zebi website for the instructions related to swap from ERC20 to ZPB.
- ERC20 to ZPB Unidirectional Swap — Existing ZCO token holders can now swap to ZPB tokens through Bridge Software. This unidirectional swap will be open for 90 days from the start date of the swap i.e. August 29, 2019 at 09:00 AM (UTC).
- ERC20 to BEP2 Unidirectional Swap — Existing ZCO token holders can swap to BEP2 ZEBI tokens available on Binance DEX through Bridge Software. This unidirectional swap will be open for 90 days from the start date of the swap, i.e. August 16th, 2019.
Note: It will be up to the token holders whether to swap ZCOs now to BEP2 or swap to ZPB tokens (ZEBI).
- BEP2 to ZPB Bidirectional Swap — Bidirectional swap between Zebi Public Blockchain tokens (ZEBI) and Binance DEX (BEP2) tokens is live now. This bridge will stay open permanently to enable easy swaps between the ZPB and BEP2 tokens.
